If you have opposable thumbs, you have an ancestor that knapped flint. Meet up for a few hours in the evening to learn the basics of this ancient art. Flint knapping is the process of reducing pieces of flint or other glass like rocks into useful tools with very sharp edges. It took humans 20,000 years to perfect the art, let’s see how far we get in 4 hours. Tools and materials will be provided. Anybody interested in collecting materials from the Colorado river earlier that day should meet at noon at the coop.
