Hey everyone, sorry if posts have been a bit minimal lately… We are in a bit of a transition period. Classes will be more regularly posted in the next few days and the calendar will be updated this Sunday!

We have some really amazing new workshops coming up for the fall. Including but not limited to:

Intro to Archives
Beginning Performance Art
Gwar Costume & Prop Making Class
Hip Hop: A Personal History

Other:
– We have finished reviewing our bylaws and will be submitting them this upcoming week.
– Currently we are trying to determine a space to start holding events on the south east side of Austin and seeking more organizations & collectives to partner with
– Planning a Fundraiser & Teacher Appreciation Event
– Setting up a Twitter
– Creating more media and creative ways of providing education to the greater Austin communities

Last night’s programming class was wicked!

I demonstrated a system to automatically schedule co-op labor based on scheduling conflicts, several bright young programmers quizzed me for an hour about lambda calculus, and later on I rented a Woody Allen film. But hey! The class itself was fun!
